Charlotte Canning is a registered Architect living and working in Meanjin (Brisbane). Charlotte balances her 9-5 job as an Associate at a large firm in Brisbane, with creative side projects that inspire her and allow her to form collaborative relationships and meaningful spaces. This website is a home to showcase those creations - both real-world and conceptual.
Charlotte has 10 years of diverse, multi-disciplinary work experience in architecture, urban design, and interior design in both Australia and Zealand. Charlotte is a graduate of the University of Sydney where she obtained her Master of Architecture. During her years of study, she was placed on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence, as well as winning several awards including the Ethel M Chettle Prize in Architecture, a Gold Pin at the New Zealand Designers Institute’s BEST Awards, and the Nanette Cameron Scholarship for Design Excellence. She has also contributed to a number of award-winning projects during her time in practice, including the AIA National Architecture Awards, the AIA Queensland Regional Architecture Awards, and the Australian Urban Design Awards.
